Welcome one and all to the next great MechWarrior forum!
I will promise the MechWarrior Community 3 things:
1) I will not quit, abandon, get sold out, or otherwise end or allow the end of this forum.
2) Outside of maintaining common decency and maturity there will be NO censorship here.
3) This forum shall serve the MechWarrior Community and there will be no other agenda, please feel free to make suggestions towards the common evolution of these forums that will serve the good of the community.

Welcome Stoney, good to see you here! Nice to have a MechWarrior 3 vet from the old days as one of the first to join. Yeah, very sad about Dawg, I'll miss him. There were alot of members of the mech3.org xfire team.

I never got to play MW3 on Xfire. It has almost 100 members, wow.
Yeah I had to grab StoneWall before it gets taken. For some reason on sites dealing with MW or in game registration, StoneWall gets taken fast.
I wasn't there or involved with MekTek selling out. Is there a forum post about this or do you know anything about what happened?

Mektek appears to have made an agreement with someone, I would guess pgi, or the actual owner of the IP, to back out of their support of the MechWarrior community...but that's just a guess on my part. What they are doing, is their new project....I forgot the name of it, but it's about roller-skating mechs that battle in arenas.

Hiya Joe! good to see you in here, I'm thinking about setting up a mech3 lobby at digital bloodsports for my mod when I'm ready to release it. So I'll be hoping for a crew to join in the fun~
Don't know when that will be, probably still be a while, stay tuned.

So sad to hear the news. And bless you Freako, for keeping this alive. Has all been lost from the old forums? There were sooooo many good things in there. I hope the news about this forum gets out to all that still frequented the old site. I used to love looking at the Member's list, and reminiscing about old times with the many names I remembered. Shame we didn't have a copy.

Yeah we can use The Way Back Machine to look at archives of the site. You can even go into the MW3.org forums a little bit and grab names or look at the thread titled "Old Zone Players." Hello, glad "old school" is still cool! I've been playing the Mechwarrior series/expansions in reverse...and Mechwarrior {3} is next on my list. Still trying to work out some bugs with it (especially the controls), so I'm stuck in "training" at the moment lol.
