I'm in the middle of finishing the Pirate's Moon version of the weapons mod which will have all the same new weapons as the 'Mech3 version, plus some extra new weapons, with all the same new visual effects, sound effects, and physics changes as the 'Mech3 version as well but I have another idea I thought I'd toss around: I'd like to do a version of this Pirate's Moon weapons mod with the sound fx, visual fx, and physics changes but keep all the original Pirate's Moon weapons. I will add some canon stock 'mechs of course as well to this version and I'll call it "PM WeapFX"
..the question I'm putting to everyone is, do "PM WeapFX" first, or the full version with the new weapons first?
Basically what this means is, the full version will replace AC2,5/srm2/ssrm2/Small lasers/Clan Heavy small lasers/small pulse/MRM10/lbx2, lbx5, NARC, lt mgun, all with new weapons, but the PM WeapFX does not, it simply adds the sound effects and physics changes from the 'Mech3 weapons mod. So think of it as a "Vanilla" version of the weapons mod.
I should clarify, that although the PM WeapFX is going to keep things like AC2's, srm2's, small lasers and so forth...in the same way the weapons mod made machine guns cooler/better, the same thing will happen with all of them.
