I'm going to get set up for mercs with the mektek pack so I can play with the mercs players on gameranger. I'm hoping that by getting to know them and adding to their ranks they might feel generous enough to help us with our multiplayer numbers...
Looking for anyone to join me in this venture.

Me too. The best stick I've found was the old 4 axis twist handle sticks. It's so quick paced and the mechs are so responsive that a mouse is too limiting, but that's also the reason I don't like the game as much as mech3, because it is so quick and toy like... and I absolutely "hate" the way a lot of the mechs 'bob' and 'strut' their stuff. Merc seems to be a little better with A.I. players than Vengeance or BK. City fighting with an A.I. team can be very frustrating because they're always getting lost or stuck.
Never played it on line...

Never played it on line... You're lucky to have never played online. It was a sniper/LRM fest. Capture the Flag was fun though. |
