btw Tele--on further thought, go ahead and include the reader in your install of this, but wait until I give you a clean one. This one may have some mod changes in it, I don't remember if I started this with a clean reader.zbd... Anyway, once it's done and the installer made just include a disclaimer on it saying that it should be installed BEFORE installing my mods because I'm including the hud file in the mod anyway. Also, I hope you used EOP's .exe file because he used the same technique as you in using the spaces between code, and his fix really helps with the CTD's that are caused by some incorrect code involving the targeting triangle. It would just be nice if yours was combined with his. Maybe you can find it, install it on a copy of your .exe and see if it interferes with your work or not. I'm thinking it probably doesn't...and I don't know if his install will overwrite the whole .exe or just puts in his code...actually I think it does just put in his code, which tells the .exe to read outside commands he put in a file.

Can you give me a list of your mods that include reader.zbd?

1440x900 1920x1200 1680x1050 wtf? This one worked fine before. Edit: I went back a few pages and saw that the problem with 1680x1050 still existed in the last screenshot I posted. So I was mistaken about it working fine.

Ok here's 1680x1050 fixed... let's see how it went reader.zip (116.81 KB)

and btw, yes that's a vanilla reader file...other than the hud. So yes, safe to use.
Modules that will be affected if our resolution program is installed after module:
Weapons module
All previous (old) weapons mods
Instant Action New Locations
These are not yet compatible with this project, but they will be after I update them.

Freako, can you check if you have this path in your registry?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\mech3.exe

Eww. On high resolutions hud is useless. Too small and too close too far away from the center of the screen.

Can someone with a 32 bit Windows verify if this registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroProse\MechWarrior 3\1.0\program exists?

Eww. On high resolutions hud is useless. Too small and too close too far away from the center of the screen. I think AncientFreako can't make it any bigger. What monitor are you using?
