Finally, community warfare is sorta out. Pick a faction, contract, and fight to secure worlds for your faction. I think it is pretty cool, and it is nice to finally have a goal beyond shoot to grind c bills. I haven't played MWO in over a year and I have started to really enjoy it. It is still lacking in terms of content, but it is much much better than when I last played. I may even stick around and stay active this time. Anyone else playing or thinking about giving it another shot? Keep me up to date if you still enjoy this a few weeks from now. How about a few months? I still been playing a few times a week, and with VOIP it's quite a bit better to coordinate (troll) pugs. I think the game continues to improve, especially now that their publisher has been out of the picture.

Publisher? how is that helping? What was the publisher doing to screw MWO?

The publisher seemed to have absolutely no idea where to put their priorities in terms of development, and supposedly kept forcing PGI to work more on the cash shop stuff instead of the actual game. I personally still do not trust PGI, nor am I fond of the "MechWarrior" they've made, but there does seem to have been an increase in productivity for the game since the publisher went belly up and the rights were left to PGI.

I can see that. I jumped on that game in Closed Beta and you could tell what was happening when, after the game was released, most of the new content was just new mechs you could buy.
