I am of the understanding that it was co-opted by mektek then squashed along with mw4 when pgi came along.

AT:1 is a game based on mw2 models and gameplay using a more modern engine. It had good mechanics and was being built by one guy in south america. Sake009 or some such. He ended up hooking up with mektek and they took over development and when that happened all of the content available at that time disappeared.

yeah that's what happened. Development stopped even before mektek bailed on us. I think they got as far as a version 2.0

Really too bad, as the game showed great promise! I have all the files from the early demo, and main game and patches up to 223. Who knows, maybe Sake906 will pick it up again someday?

fyi if allowed, I do have the latest AT1 install if anyone wants, just help me figure out where to upload it if there is interest. This is the latest one before they stopped which I think is 232 if I remember right, I know the engine was called the dasher series.

I played AT1 a few times and thought it was pretty decent, and was always a bit sad that I couldn't find it later. I'd definitely love it if you could upload it; maybe Rapidshare or Mediafire or the like? Although that may not work depending on size.
I don't suppose the code for it still exists anywhere?

I'm sure there would be some interest if you can work out a way to put it up for download! I used to have it installed at one point, but never got to play it since it didn't function on the computer I was using at the time for some reason.

I'd love if someone could put these up. The last build would be great.
Anyone remember those super early builds? I remember some really nice looking city maps, and a forest one that you could get by downloading some map pack. Must've been damn near a decade ago now.... wow.
