I like what I'm seeing lately in the videos...maybe the game is starting to grow on me. To be honest the graphics always looked good to me as well as the weapons and the sound and visual effects. I just had some complaints, mainly indestructible trees and the whole pay to play truth of it.
Perhaps someday I'll put together a gaming rig capable of playing MWO well and give it a try. When I do (or is it "if"?) ...I'll try and start my own band of misfits...not necessarily a unit, but a group..."The Society of Non-Paying MWO PLayers" hehe.
We'll play only with the free stuff...and earn our way to better stuff without paying actual money. I bet in a 1v1 I can take any average MWO knucklehead in my Orion ON1-K.

You're a braver man than I  . Even if I wasn't mired in getting battleMETAL completed, I could never justify going back to a grind like MWO. I'll wait and see how 'MW5' turns out, and hope for more mech games on the horizon. |

It's not worth it now Freako. Beta was the best time for this game. Felt like a pretty MechWarrior 4. Now they've turned this game into a Diablo 2 RPG with that Skill Tree. Not to mention the game has loot boxes and pay2win Mechs on very small maps.
Oh and can't beat a guy? Get pissed enough on the forums and they will nerf whatever you want.

Especially about the beta days. I keep giving it a shot only to be more fed up than the last time. If you want a good online MechWarrior experience post 3 and 4 I'd just stick with Living Legends. It's always going to be a bit clunky seeing as it's a mod, but the balance is far better, and the maps are typically huge and feel like they could be straight out of the old games. |

Wolverine would beat me in c1, but I've been practicing for 2 years now. I miss shooting at his 20ms back in the day. He had the lowest lag of anyone I played.
