It looks ok. A little slow maybe. Another mercs game though. You'd think someone could do something original though, like maybe play as a Davion 'MechWarrior or something, or maybe a friggin clanner campaign for a change. Sheesh.

I don't see it as a bad thing, more of a throwback. Its been decades now...
Count me cautiously optimistic. MWO plays well and has nice assets. I think they could put together a fun campaign. It's a whole different ball game when you aren't working on an always online pvp project.

There are people in reddit writing that it could be another pay-to-play game, where you buy a basic version of the game and then there's an un-ending list of necessary add-ons to buy.

That would be pretty sad I think. A lot of people don't like this free-but-pay-to-play business model. I know I don't. I like buying the whole game once. Oh well I guess I'm living in the past?
