Does anyone know how to remove the mission boundaries? I played back in the 90's and I'm just now running through my first campaigns since then. I fail more missions because I go out of bounds while trying new strategies and exploring. The physical maps boundaries do not always coincide with the mission boundaries. Some maps are way off. Some I can actually leave the map. Some are cut off way before the map ends. Sometimes I get a warning but more times than not I don't. I just get a "Mission Failed".

Are you playing the vanilla single-player campaign, or one of my modded campaigns?

Vanilla SP campaign. Trying to get used to everything all over again. I don't recall the game being so picky with boundaries before...

Well the boundaries are there to stop you from destroying future objectives so it doesn't mess with the mission memory. Previous mission areas that you've already completed may have the boundaries somewhat pulled back because the game assumes those objectives were already destroyed.
Changing the boundaries or turning them off would be an involved process to the extent that you might as well edit the whole mission while you're into the code. Meaning the only way to do it is through the code.
