So I've spent the day making an installer for the weapons mod on the quadrilogy install of 'Mech3...and it works, but now come to find out the mod is not compatable with the quad install of 'Mech3.
It crashes to desktop as soon as the music plays (I made custom music files for each instant action mission loading screen) I suspect it interferes with the cd emulation...there is a custom mech3.exe file that they made for this package and I think the cd calls get interfered with by my changes, so it will be a while before I can figure it out.
In the meantime, it may work when playing the campaign and it may work for multiplayer, I don't know. After I test it further we'll see, maybe I'll upload it.

It crashes when trying load the campaign as well. I'm starting to wonder if maybe the makers of the quadpack for 'Mech3 somehow reinstated the proper functioning of the checksum in the .exe in order to prevent altering the game, or perhaps their own files run a checksum function in order to run the game. Whatever it is, I don't foresee enabling the QuadPack 'MechWarrior 3 to be able to run with my weapons mod in the near future. They may have also altered the mech3.dll as well, I'll have to look into that. I will also try to contact them and see if we can collaborate on fixing this. It would be neat to be able to team up with them and have my "modules" included as options in their launcher.

Generally if your game runs good on your rig the mod will run just fine. (Just, not on the quadrilogy install)

You can get the multiplayer maps on the main site downloads page. If you install the weapons mod (from the downloads page of the mech3mod site, click my sig) I'll have to send you an update file to patch it, however if you installed the game with the Quadrilogy pack neither the multiplayer maps or the mods will install to it.
I'll be online tonight, in about 3 hours (around 7:30 eastern)
